This system is designed to provide excellent performance for the dollar for X-Plane and/or MSFS X and will run FS2020 on medium settings. If you are on a budget and want to know "what is the least expensive system I can get that will run X-Plane or MSFS X nicely?", then this is the system for you. It is designed specifically for customers wanting to run X-Plane on a single full-hd (1080P) monitor. A second monitor can be added for showing your map, GPS, Air Manager, etc.
Mass storage is typically the bottleneck in just about every system. So, how do we reduce this bottleneck? We do this by including a 500GB SSD (solid state drive). An SSD is many times faster than a conventional hard drive. This results in Window loading in half the amount of time and X-Plane loading 50% faster.
With the base system, we are getting well over 30fps in heavy scenery with lots of eye candy turned on using a single 1080p (1920x1080) monitor. We suggest this for customers wanting to run a single display, with 1080p being the most typical.
